Clique + Karakas + Spirit of the Labyrinth is cute, but the :u::u: makes it unplayable in the D&T shell since you would have to abandon your Ports.

If you want to splash, it must be light enough to still being able to run a full set of Ports. Bahra's Imperial Taxes build does it and so do the green splash variants for Teeg and Pridemage on Salvation.

I have to agree with Barook.
Rishadan ports + thalia is what makes the core of D&T and differientiate it from any other Stoneforge deck.
Without rishadan ports, you're probably not taxing your opponents enough and he will probably be able to do what he wants to do which is probably of a higher power level than anything D&T can do :)

The red splash seems better as it can still play D&T like before and also sometimes auto-win with a timely magus of the moon plus better matchup vs elves (however against MW D&T it is unfavored).

I agree. You have WW for Flickerwisp & UU for Clique/Venser and want it to run alongside Wastelands? That manabase is an abdomination and has to cut Port which is part of the magic triangle with Thalia and Wasteland to hinder your opponents gameplan. You chopped fundamental parts for fancy stuff like Spirit + Clique + Karakas + Vial. It also dies to Magus of the Moon which is quite funny

The concept isn't thought through imo not to talk about writing an article about it.

I agree that the concept of a UW taxes deck isn't fully thought through yet, but the point of the article was never about it supposedly being the next big thing in Legacy, but to showcase some of the creative ideas/innovations I've stumbled upon. It's about exploring new ideas, hopefully it didn't come across as anything else.

Fair point, I hadn't actually thought about that one! I simply went with how I've seen his decklist presented elsewhere (SCG for example), but of course if Marc prefers his full name being used over his alias I will adjust my writing accordingly.

I don't know if he "prefers" to read his name, but as he's not only a SCG Champion but also known in the forum and the web, so I think calling him by his name makes it easier for your readers if they google and it also sounds more professional :)
