Dear Sourcers:

I will be moving to Newcastle, UK for about 3-4 years. And actually the first time to UK.

Is there any store / city in the North UK that holds regular legacy tournaments?

or where could I play legacy in the whole UK?

Thanks in advance for any response!

Firstly, I'm assuming Newcastle upon Tyne, not Newcastle Under Lyne. Two different places.

I don't know Newcastle itself, but Stockton is ~30 minutes away and Beanie Games holds regular Legacy events. I suspect at least some of the regulars are from / towards Newcastle.

There is a very healthy and active Legacy community in Leeds, 1.5 hrs drive from Newcastle (and extending to Manchester, Chesterfield, and Sheffield). This includes, bi-weekly mid-week events, and monthly events across 2-4 stores (so at least 2 weekend events / month). Stores: Patriot Games Leeds / Sheffield, Gaming Galore Chesterfield, Fanboy 3 Manchester, IQ Games Huddersfield, and Scythe & Teacup Liverpool. Facebook 'Northern Legacy Players'.

There is a large group heading to Lille if you wish to join us.

Hi, alastair. Thanks very much for your fast and detailed reply! And yes, it's Newcastle upon Tyne:smile:
