Hi,
this is my first post here on The Source. I play Legacy since 2 years now, starting with Enchantress and after a few months i picked up Infect, which I'm playing currently. Although I'm quite happy with Infect, I'd like to play something with my own touch. So I started to build some home brews. Unfortunately I can't test very much in the last time, so I cannot really evaluate my brews. Nevertheless I want such a deck for the future. In my opinion the most promising built is the following one:

BURG Control

Lands:

4 Grove of the Burnwillows
2 Tropical Island
2 Volcanic Island
2 Underground Sea
1 Forest
1 Island
4 Misty Rainforest
4 Polluted Delta
1 Scalding Tarn

Creatures:

4 Tarmogoyf
4 Deathrite Shaman
3 Shardless Agent
1 Bloodbraid Elf
1 Notion Thief

Instants:

4 Punishing Fire
4 Brainstorm
4 Force of Will
2 Abrupt Decay
1 Dig Through Time

Sorceries:

3 Ancestral Vision
2 Thoughtseize

Planeswalker:

4 Dack Fayden
2 Jace, the Mind Sculptor

Sideboard:

2 Vendilion Clique
1 Izzet Staticaster
1 Dread of Night
1 Abrupt Decay
1 Thoughtseize
1 Slaughter Games
2 Pithing Needle
2 Grafdigger's Cage
2 Ensnaring Bridge
1 Tsabo's Web
1 Illness in the Ranks

The deck is obviously related to the BUG Control deck. The similarity is of course the combo of Shardless Agent and Ancestral Vision. But this deck is even more going on the card advantage line. The synergy of Dack Fayden, Grove of the Burnwillows and Punishing Fire helps you to filter through the deck for the cards you want to have. Or if the situation is different you just use Punishing Fire and Grove of the Burnwillows to get rid of the opponent's creature threats or Planeswalker. One of the key cards is Dack Fayden. It helps you to have a constant use of Deathrite Shaman, it strengthens your Tarmogoyf and it lets you find important cards. He is also the reason for the one Notion Thief. You target your opponent with the +1 ability of Dack Fayden and if you control Notion Thief, you draw 2 cards and your opponent has to discard 2 cards. This is unfortunately only possible, if your opponent can't destroy the Notion Thief in response to the Dack Fayden ability. One thing that is a little pity, that you cannot really get advantage of the ultimate ability of Dack Fayden. You can only use Punishing Fire on creatures with toughness > 2 or Planeswalker with > 2 Loyalty. Pyroblast would be great, but with the Cascaders I think it's not an option.

The sideboard is only a first try. I guess that Combo decks aren't a good match up for this deck. That's why I play 2 Vendilion Clique, Slaughter Games and an additional Thoughtseize in the sideboard. Because of the Cascaders the sideboard has to be more permanent focussed than instant/sorcery.

Cards I consider bringing in are True-Name Nemesis, maybe for the Notion Thief, Baleful Strix is an option too. I am not 100% sure whether the creatures are good this way. Actually the only really threat is Tarmogoyf and maybe Deathrite Shaman, this could be too few.
I could test this deck only a couple of times until now. Against Lands it was okay. 2 games won, 2 games lost. Against Death & Taxes the same. One game against UR Painter I lost.

I would like to hear your opinions and advices for this deck.
