Hello guys,
I hope that this is the correct subforum because I have a question for you. Today, I opened a booster pack M. Origins I won yesterday at our LGS and realized that
the rare, Soulblade Djinn, has a buckling in the middle of the bottom border. It goes from the bottom side in the direction of the middle of the card. All the other cards are in perfect condition. The buckling is aprox. 1 cm long and is clearly visible and sensible from both sides.
Out of curiosity, is it possible that this card was damaged before it was packed? (I don't know how they handle this in their factory.)

Can you post a picture?

Wotc customer service is good about replacing defective product though they might not be able to replace the exact card. Likely just a booster. Contact them.

It's possible, but unlikely to be worth the trouble to replace a $.25 rare. Even at no cost to you.

Hell no, I don't want the card to be replaced. I don't care about it. It's just a crappy rare which can go straight to the bin.
My question was if it is actually possible that one card of a booster is damaged this way without the "help" of someone else. Seems like it can. Thanks for your answers.

It happens all the time, just look at all the misprints, crimps and miscuts that exist, then there are ink smudges and other weird stuff.
