So - every new Modern playable combo needs to be looked at in legacy, due to its bigger card pool.

The basic combo is the new enchantment for 2U: Retreat to Coralhelm (http://media.wizards.com/2015/bfz_8asdifk2Sk2cs/en_rXcm01PtXd.png) + Knight of the Reliquary

Why I think it's playable in legacy:
-There is already a deck that is playing Knight of the Reliquary which is Maverick.
-It's easy to splash for Tropical Island or just play Bant with Noble Hierarch as acceleration.
-The enchantment is *good* on it's own. It either ramps with mana dork's in play or it helps you find your stuff faster by scrying. You could
-play other creatures with good tap abilities to maximize the card. Other 2-card combos often lack in individual power.
-Once the combo is established there is not much an opponent can do in response, since you could combo of at instant speed and filter through your deck with multiple triggers
-You can Green Sun's Zenith for Knight of the Reliquary
-You can use a good land toolbox and maximize the landfall triggers
-You have a Plan A: Beatdown, Plan B: Combokill with Knight
-Additional combo cards stack (More Knights + More Retreat = More Stuff to do)

Why I think it's not playable in legacy:
-Currently Maverick/Bant strategies are NOT good in the meta of Miracles, OmniTell
-The enchantment dies to Pyroblast/Red Elemental Blast/Abrupt Decay which are cards that almost every deck plays right now
-6 total mana might be too much for legacy although it's split into two cards and green already has the best mana acceleration right now.

I haven't come up with a list but it's either a full creature list in Maverick style splashing that enchantment
or it will be some sort of BANT list with Force of Will, Brainstorm and less creatures.

Lets see what you come up with.

Cheers, Peer

There already has been some brewing going on in the Maverick section.

Also, wasn't this section of the forum ment to showcase new builds rather then "Hey, I've got the same idea as several others. Can someone build me a decklist?"

Yes, we already discussed this a little in the GW/x Maverick thread, and I think this is where we are at now:

1: Get an active Knight, and at least one plains/forest in play, and also some amount of life left (for fetching).
2: Cast Retreat to Coralhelm, with an additional untapped fetch in play.

It seems that this likely wins the game on the spot, even through one removal spell, and any amount of blockers.

The untapped fetch protects from (colored) removal at all times, because we can respond to removal with fetch, untap Knight, tap Knight to find Sejiri Steppe, untap Knight, continue.

Every time we get a new fetch, we get an additional +1 mana, and an additional +1 tap/untap trigger on the stack.

Then we tap all blockers, and fetch up Kessig Wolf Run or Rogue's Passage for the win.
