Khans of Tarkir was released September 26, 2014. By November of the same year, sea of Treasure Cruise and Volcanic Island were flowing into GP NJ, by the thousands, and that was not an exaggeration. The rest was history.
What was the Top 8 before Khans?

What will be the left-over impact from Khans?
Swiftspear,
Become Immense,
Gurmag Angler,
Monastery Mentor.
With SCG St. Louis and GP Seattle looming, maybe the meta will go back to the above?

I think the relevant changes are that Miracles has adopted a much quicker win condition in Mentor which allows it to be played by more people. Therefore I think Miracles will continue to be very strongly represented in the metagame.
Angler provides a black threat which means black Delver decks don't need to be BUG for 'Goyf. Grixis will be a player but it may need to refocus more heavily on the mana disruption a la RUG rather than try to have late game staying power via Dig.
With Sneak and Show back we should see more Karakas which has been bad for awhile. Elves goes back to having only one really bad matchup (Miracles) but that deck is now more prevalent than a year ago.

I agree with what was said here but wanted to add that Elves also has a dreadful matchup against Reanimator, which was reasonably popular in the old meta too.

Believe the G in BUG is more for Decay rather than Goyf.

Shardless BUG may become a thing again now that there aren't obviously better "big" draw spells than Ancestral Visions. That deck plus Anglers could be interesting.
Storm Combo got Dark Petition out of Origins, but it was eclipsed by the easier to play, and obviously powerful, OmniTell. I suspect there will be an uptick in Storm now that the previous king of the combo pile has been dethroned.
So lots of Sneak&Show and lots of BUG. Got it.

I think we get the pre-Khans meta plus possibly some new tier decks since due to the cards listed above. I think Angler may help Grixis Delver stay alive and I think Mentor either in a Jeskai or Esper shell will be a viable Tier 1.5 deck at least if not Tier 1.
