Hi!
I've been toying around with an aggressive BRg-deck utilizing the new Magus of the Wheel for potential t4 vial out magus, pop and get a new grip for 1R.
I want the main to be focused on burn (good with the "empty your hand then magus"-plan) , some distruptive elements and some "must-handles". Since we lack blue, card advantage is also important with bob and abbot.

I don't know what to call it. AggroWheel?

4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Dark Confidant
2 Grim Lavamancer
2 Magus of the Moon
2 Magus of the Wheel
4 Aether Vial
4 Young Pyromancer
2 Abbot of Keral Keep

4 Lightning Bolt
4 Chain Lightning
4 Cabal Therapy
3 Abrupt Decay

4 Wooded Foothills
4 Bloodstained Mire
4 Badlands
1 Bayou
2 Taiga
1 Swamp
1 Mountain
2 Mishra's Factory
2 Cavern of Souls

This is a rough draft, so please be harder on the overall strategies than the details.
I'm just posting this out there to be improved!

Directions I have thought of:
More aggro: drop therapy and decay. Add Goblin Guide or/and Kird Ape.
More hatebear: Add eidolon or even white for more hate. Drop Chain Lightning.
More tempo: add delver and brainstorm. Drop Vial and Magus of the Wheel (which is kinda the point of this deck)

The sideboardplan must help against Clasm/Massacre-effects. Tasigur or Gurmag Angler might be good.

Thanks for the read!

When I put together a 'burn' deck I expect the deck to be able to deal 20 damage by turn 4. So, in a game plan like that, Magus of the Wheel should be obsolete by the time it hits the table.

Fundamentally, the challenge with Magus is that he's expensive and slow to cast and activate (5 mana and 2 turns.) You can mitigate that by running him in a deck with fast mana, but, in those decks, summoning sickness is not so great.

Hi!

Yeah, burn is not a close resemblance, since we are both running therapy and magus of the moon in this deck. We are running burn – not BEING a Burn deck. :)
This deck takes a slower route.

As you can see from both the deck and my reasoning – here we try to mitigate the clunkiness of Magus of the Wheel with Vial (2 mana and 1 turn if Vial Active) instead of fast mana. The deck could use Simian Spirit Guide and or Chrome Mox alongside that I guess.
