Been contemplating joining this community for some time, figured no time like the present, right? So I'll make my first post the newest of my brews - Drana Sui Black, an archetype that hasn't put up real winning numbers in over a decade! Sounds daunting? Moreso that I'm playing Suicide in a thirty life format? Yup - but I'm up to the task!

The deck itself remains strong, with power plays capable of overwhelming even a moderately prepared opponent in short order, however in the grindy control matchups, I find myself coming within 8-12 points of finishing a game (because I can't get creatures to stick at this point). Some burn would do the trick well, I think. So Drana's oomph creatures, and Zurgo's burn suite, leads me to this guy;

Tymaret, the Murder King.

He often circumvents commander tax (I can't imagine having a game where I spend any more than four on him...which is fair, since he'd be pretty underwhelming as a six mana bear), offers a sac outlet that is repeatable and added reach, plays really nicely with Gravecrawler/Bloodsoaked Champion. List will be incoming soon (I wanted to play tonight, but that just wasn't...

*puts on shades*

...in the cards).

....I'll let myself out. >_>
