~~ Jund Werewolves ~~

So, to get over how dumb I feel Eldrazi are, assuming something gets banned or leveled out in the coming months, I have a fun brew going:

In anticipation for the upcoming set, "Shadows over Innistrad",

why not play a throwback Werewolf deck in a Jund shell? Could even be a platform in preparation for what's to come with the new set...
...Or something fun just because it's werewolves. And wolves. Lots of wolves.

Decklist:

Mainboard:
4x Birds of Paradise
1x Eternal Witness
3x Huntmaster of the Fells
3x Master of the Wild Hunt
4x Mayor of Avabruck
4x Tarmogoyf
2x Wolfbriar Elemental

2x Abrupt Decay
2x Atarka's Command
2x Kolaghan's Command
4x Lightning Bolt
2x Terminate
1x Engineered Explosives
1x Evolutionary Leap
2x Garruk Relentless

4x Cavern of Souls
4x Forest
1x Graven Cairns
1x Kessig Wolf Run
2x Overgrown Tomb
4x Stomping Ground
1x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
2x Verdant Catacombs
4x Wooded Foothills

Sideboard/Maybeboard:
1x Abrupt Decay
2x Ancient Grudge
1x Crumble to Dust
1x Huntmaster of the Fells
1x Kolaghan's Command
2x Maelstrom Pulse
1x Master of the Wild Hunt
2x Shatterstorm
1x Terminate
3x Thoughtseize

Theme and Engine:
The deck generates wolf tokens via: Huntmaster of the Fells's Flip, Master of the Wild Hunt, Wolfbriar Elemental, Mayor of Avabruck's Flip and Garruk Relentless. Use Master of the Wild Hunt blow up a threat once per turn that your removal suite can't. Your wolves are going to be buff if Mayor is flipped, so you'll hardly lose any tokens even taking down the largest of threats.

Defense:
Early Tarmogoyf. I know, I know. I'm that guy. But hey, think of it this way: he's a distraction. A lightning rod for removal. A body to early block. You're playing a lot of card types. He'll get killed first so you can actually play with your werewolves. Happy now? Evolutionary Leap is just a 1 of, but nice to have since chumping with a token and sac'n only draws you up value. Also it's an Unless it's another Birds of Paradise. Mayor helps protect Master of the Wild Hunt from bolt, so have him come down beforehand. Another 1 of early defense is Engineered Explosives, ranging from 0-3, it's a great aggro sweeper.

Win Con:
Attacking through with wolves and werewolves, possibly dealing enough damage directly with Lightning Bolt (last ditch tactic) and a flipped Huntmaster(s). Use Atarka's Command and Kessig Wolf Run to push your wolves over the top.

Keep in Mind:
Still using a lot of strong Jund suite to keep this a fun yet still viable deck. Maybe. In a Tier 3 kinda way. Maybe Tier 2? Needs more testing... pretending Eldrazi Aggro isn't a thing. The deck runs lots of low curve with removal and all instants because you want to be in control of werewolf flips. The deck trades hand disruption for ramp (so needed these days) and creature pump.

Would loves any and all suggestions! Especially to the sideboard.

That's a lot of non-tribal spells to try and cast with 4 caverns. I'd rather play a jundier manabase with some raging ravines, especially since counterspells are so horrible right now. Bird seems pretty unnecessary too, you aren't accelerating into knockout 3 drops so I'd personally play some discard in those slots.

Fun looking deck, I have a huge soft spot for mayor of avabruck and huntmaster of the fells and have my fingers crossed for some modern playable ones in the next block.
