For longer than I can remember, Natural Order has been the most sided-out card in Elves for me. No matter whether I was up against Miracles, Sneak Show or this month’s flavor of Delver, the card often felt more like a liability than the dreaded “I Win” button it used to be. It’s not that it’s a bad card, but especially after sideboarding, most opponent will have very strong plans against it and there’s only so much Abrupt Decay can do about that. Combine that with Elves’ ability to play a strong grindy game and you will understand why I’ve always felt a strong desire to get rid of the card.
It has taken me a while (2 weeks to be exact) but here's my report of my double Top8 (with a win) at MKM Milan, Legacy and Modern. There's also a lot of information on the deck I recently started playing, which is a Natural Order-less version of Elves called Chaos Elves.
Check it out on my website: MKM Series Milan - Legacy & Modern Report (http://itsjulian.com/?p=1948)
Thanks!
