Hi, haven't played in years, somehow got the itch and decided to try out some modern online. Looking around at the format, realized I should focus on building a deck for a post-eldrazi world, and settled on BGWU after looking at all the new stuff that's come out and some spoilers for SoI.

This list is super still in testing on MTGO right now. I want to use a bunch of Delirium spells if any good ones get printed.

Creatures - 12
4x Tarmogoyf
2x Snapcaster Mage
2x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
4x Siege Rhino

Sorceries - 5
1x Maelstrom Pulse
3x Painful Truths
1x Supreme Verdict

Instants - 11
3x Path to Exile
2x Abrupt Decay
2x Azban Charm
4x Ojutai's Command

Planeswalkers - 3
2x Gideon Jura
1x Ugin, the Spirit Dragon

Enchantments - 2
2x Detention Sphere

Artifacts - 4
4x Wayfarer's Bauble

Lands - 23
2x Tectonic Edge
1x Verdant Catacombs
1x Marsh Flats
2x Flooded Strand
2x Windswept Heath
1x Polluted Delta
1x Watery Grave
1x Godless Shrine
2x Hallowed Fountain
2x Temple Garden
4x Forest
3x Plains
2x Island
1x Swamp

Sideboard
4x Negate
4x Surgical Extraction
1x Path to Exile
2x Ravenous Baloth
2x Voices from the Void
1x Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
1x Garruk Relentless

It's a giant pile right now, I know. But the testing on this is still very much in progress. I originally had only 1 Rhino, but I've gone up to 4 because it isn't hard to cast at all, and it's fairly amazing. Ojutai's Command has been spectacular. Getting an instant speed Goyf eot plus another benefit is huge, and really, that's the number #1 interaction of the deck. Snapcaster + Ojutai also leads to a lot of surprising and awesome interactions.

Pretty sure the deck needs some manlands and utility lands, not sure which ones yet. Color has not been an issue at all so far, the combination of largely avoiding double color costs and a wide variety of mana sources has largely seen to that. Negate out of the board is amaze. That's the only sideboard card I'm 100% on right now. Really hits every matchup you need it to. Nissa has also been great, enough so that I've started wondering about Jace, Vryn's Prodigy.

The two cards I'm most interested in from SoI so far are Invasive Surgery and Pick the Brain (the Envelop and the Coercion with Delirium kicking in an extraction effect). Sorin, Grim Nemesis also looks like something that would work well here. The artifact slot should perhaps be Tidehollow Sculler instead of Wayfarer's bauble, but the mana fixing and acceleration are very strong. Also considering reworking the manabase to more Plains/X lands to enable a singleton Emeria, the Sky Ruin. Which would be really easy considering there are already 8 "Plains" in the base right now that I just counted.

Baneslayer Angel and Dragonlord Dromoka are another two creatures I've been looking at and wondering about.

Anyways, this plays a pretty normal junk control style game, you get ahead on lands, play big giant dudes, kill their nonsense, recur some stuff, gain some life, beat face and win out. The blue just lets you play against your bad matchups a heck of a lot better and provides some interesting options.
