Hey there,
I wrote an article about the predicted meta for GP Prague, though I'm not sure reading it will change anyone's mind this late before the GP

Good analysis and good article. No, it probably won't make people switch their deck. It should however, influence peoples' MD/SB card decisions and the numbers included.

What a wonderfully healthy metagame. Thank you Wizards for the Eldrazi menace?

I would also caount with a lots of BURN, (manaless) DREDGE and other (very) cheap decks.
I do expect many czech locals with home brewed (and cheap) decks.

If anything, my impression of the Czech meta has been that everyone and their mother are playing some 4c Delver list. And half of them have Tomas Mar altered onto their cards, lol.

So a day before people fly out how accurate do you think this was?
And how useful/enjoyable are articles like this to people ?
I would really like to know what people thought

I think you're pretty accurate. It will influence choices concerning the SB, but other than that...? Maybe a spicy homebrew, a meta-call?
People will play what they like, at least I do.

I don't know the European meta as well as US, but it never seems to matter much beyond the first 5 rounds. If you're a strong player, the other strong players will rise to the top tables with you and that's where metas start to look very similar across events. 15-20% Miracles, 35% Delver variants, 10% Eldrazi, 15% Shardless, 5% Lands, 5% DnT (this one may be higher in Europe), 5% Storm, 10% folks playing a crazy assortment of decks that aren't worth putting too much effort into SBing against because your odds are low of seeing them >1 time.
There can be fluctuations on this in specific events, but I think it's really hard to predict exact metagames and it may be more beneficial to keep your SB flexible and balanced.
Also, bring Engineered Plague and Perish. Maybe 2 of each. We don't wanna see Julian do too well
