This really sucks, I'm so mad I could bitch about it on the internet.

Thank god I got my coverage of my European Legacy GP

Since Wizard decided to "overlap" events with the same format (Modern weekend, now Legacy) it is obvious, that only one Event gets a video coverage.

Greetings,
Kathal

The 'logic' is that it's better to have everyone watching a single stream, than more overall viewers, but fewer per stream.

And yet, WotC want Magic to be an ESport-like game. When the official coverage...isn't often streamed.

I don't like them running the Legacy GPS at the same time even though it means more attention for the format this particular weekend. I mean there are 3 Legacy GPs all year and now 2 are over and 1 didn't even get any Video coverage.

They do it with modern too with the 3 GP-Weekends, I guess, they just want the attention and the formats, they don't like to support, to be densed and then people can focus on standard again for a while when the GP is over.

I mean, it's standard procedure for other top 5 esports not to cover their big events.

I mean riot and valve definitely don't have multiple channels set up for multiple streams and cover all of them. Clearly they are learning from the best.
