Hey guys! A local friend and TO is hosting his first Legacy tournament to see if there is enough people in the area to sustain a Legacy scene! If you're in the area stop by and support! If the turnout is good, the TO has suggested win-a-dual tournaments in the future!

Thank you!

I just moved to Florida (today), but wow, that is almost an 8 hour drive where I am at. I am currently in Pensacola, but maybe I'll be closer to that place when I get to Jacksonville. I'm just happy to see that there's a Legacy scene over at Florida.

I can't join you guys but hope you guys get a good turnout.

Yeah it's about 3-4 hours from Jacksonville depending on where in you're at. Welcome to Florida! It's hot and flat and the magic scene is actually decent. Cheers hope to see you around.

Was a great turnout for our first ever Local Legacy Event!

17 Participants so we had 5 rounds cut to top 8!

The meta breakdown:
2 Miracles (1 mentor, 1 legends)
2 Infect
Elves
Mono Red Painter
Colorless Eldrazi Aggro
Titan Post
Burn
Maverick
Death and Taxes
Bant Deathblade
Bant Slivers
RG Combo Lands
Food Chain
Jund
Enchantress

I was playing on Enchantress after recently finishing the deck and wanting to get some practice in, so I let my friend borrow my Legendary Miracle deck.
I had some unfortunate land flooding against both Burn and Painter (both matches I considered favorable for myself) and ended up losing my post board games which knocked out my chances at top 8.

It was a very positive experience for the local scene, very diverse meta, the final standings were:

1st - Joey (Painter)
2nd - Reuben (Eldrazi Aggro)
3rd - Lord (Bant Deathblade)
4th - Michael (Elves)
5th - Dave (Burn)
6th - Will (Infect)
7th - Jaime (Infect)
8th - Blake (Food Chain)

Ready. Set. Game. will be holding monthly legacy tournaments now so stay tuned for more information on upcoming events!!

Thanks!
