Esper delver/mentor?

I had this crazy idea for a dexk given my current fair meta (dnt, dredge, infect)

I want to have the abilty to go wide like grixis delver and pyromancer, but abuse the strength of mentor. I decided to ditch red so i could run black for deathrite (turn 2 mentor), this is a challange though as bolth and forked bolt are very good in my meta. Ive also thought of going w/u/r but here is the esper list i came up with.Here is a list i came up with. Critique it and let me know your thoughts

2 didmember
4 fow
4 daze
2 spell pierce
4 ponder
4 brainstorm
4 sword to plowshares

4 deathrite
4 monestary mentor
4 flex (probably delver i assume)
2 flex (gurmag, true name, v clique)

Save creatures with gods willing or apostle's blessing cuz fuq decay and bolt, but it also lets you get aggressive and edge in final points of damage through blockers. You also save free spell countermagic, too. You can also use brave the elements to go for an alpha strike with the team. I used to use these in standard. So much fun. Could be sided, too.

Trying here with stifle and wasteland to get advantage. Instead of stifle thoughtseize would be my option. otherwise I play thoughtseize in the Sideboard.
Delver and Deathrite as one drops first turn. Deathrite allows us turn 2 a wasteland and still casting stoneforge mystic or playing a land and cast a stoneforge with brainstorm or spell pierce in our hand. I like the Baleful Strix. Strix trades 2:1 always.
