Hello! I'm an Irish lad who's about to go traveling around the world for a year. I'm a writer by trade (amongst other things because seriously, writing?) and I have a idea for a side-project which involves finding as many LGSs as I travel, meeting players from around the world and documenting them/the trip. I will be writing about the many different countries I travel to anyway and I thought it could be a lovely way to promote the community, the format and get back into the game as I go.

I've been playing on and off for 20 years. I play Legacy when I can but I'm thinking that bringing a €3000 deck to the likes of East Africa might not be the greatest idea as it will probably just get eaten by a giraffe/fall out of my bag into a volcano. I therefore need to know if its going to be a worthwhile project to conduct playing just one format or should I branch out more into draft and such. I haven't drafted in 6 or 7 years but doing it through languages I have little knowledge of could be fun all the same! "Here's 3 Korean boosters of a set you've never seen because you've been in a jungle for three weeks - go".

Anyway, what I'm looking for from the community is to help me build a list of LGSs, contacts even if possible, in the following areas:

Central America, from Mexico to Panama.
South and East Africa, literally anywhere.
Asia, also every country - probably the easiest.

I leave Ireland at the end of October for Mexico so let's start there and see if we can collectively create something we can all share and take part in!

My names Eoin and any qs you have just holler

Thanks, I do know about this but I'm more looking for people who want to get involved and know what the project is ahead of time, rather than cold-mailing every LGS or just showing up!

I looked and africa is seemingly devoid of lgs's. While asia and the americas have plenty, depending on your itenerary

Yeah I reckon Africa will be tough alright. South Africa there's some though!
