So I have been trying to make eldritch evolution a thing. After brewing a little bit with kavu predator then with food chain.
I am now playing with painter.

The food chain interaction is working turn two/three food chain with skyshoud cutter is basically emrakull hardcast through empath=> belower =>empath=>bellower=>empath=>hardcast emrakull.

Eldritch evolution+skyshoud cutter can find bellower for painter/magus or inferno titan.

It is a first try but it doesn't seem so good actually. Let's see if we can make this thing a true deck.

If you can get X>=4, then Eldrich Evolution + Fork has some 3 card combo lines. (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?8460-List-of-Compact-Combos&p=967860&viewfull=1#post967860)

At X>=3, there's a marginal thing where you can chain Dualcaster Mage and Phantasmal Image either into some kind of haste creature, or into control stuff like Aphetto Grifter and Patron Wizard.

In practice, you're probably better off looking to Evolve into Griselbrand or some other 1-card game ender combined with cost-evading cards.

I have seen in the combo thread that bellower is one card combo actually.

Depending on blockers, may not be immediately lethal.
Vulnerable to Containment Priest, Humility, and Aven Mindcensor.
Can be interrupted by instant-speed creature removal, in which case you fetch Fierce Empath for another Woodland Bellower and try again next turn.
Immune to yard-hate, artifact/enchantment removal, Chalice of the Void and Trinisphere.
If the Phantasmal Images get Extirpated or something, fetching a Flickerwisp chain might still get you there.
Fetching Reclamation Sage or Bone Shredder can deal with most other nonsense.

Well if only there was a creature that turned every cards in your deck the color you wanted :wink:

But I still don't think that combo is good enough for legacy (you're almost always better of pairing painter with grindstone).

Play Natural Order in the deck.

If you have a Painter out naming green. Natural order gets you Griselbrand (or Emrakul) immediately winning you the game.

If you don't have a Painter out, Natural Order is one card combo to get Terastodon which wins you the game by itself the vast majority of the time. Alternatively it can also get you Progenitus or Worldspine Wurm or even Woodland Bellower to do a bunch of shenanigans...

The deck is already rock solid, but if you want to pursue this route, this list already run all the other essential elements and I think incorporating Painter into this list is doable.
