3x Sram, Senior Edificier
4x Puresteel Paladin
1x Phantasmal Image
1x Laboratory Maniac

4x Cathar's Shield
4x Accorder's Shield
4x Spidersilk Net
3x Bone Saw
1x Sigil of Distinction
4x Paradise Mantle

4x Mox Opal
2x Mox Diamond

4x Retract
2x Noxious Revival

3x Daze

4x Brainstorm

4x Flooded Strand
1x Windswept Heath
4x Tundra
2x Plains
1x Island

General Gist:
-Step 1: Get to two mana.
-Step 2: Play either Sram or Paladin.
-Step 3: Next turn, play cantrip equipments until you draw into Paladin or Image.
-Step 4: Play Paladin or Image copying a Paladin.
-Step 5: Play divination equipments until you draw into Retract and either a Mox or a Land.
-Step 6: Play the mana source, then play Retract.
-Step 7: Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you draw into Maniac.
-Step 8: Play Maniac.
-Step 9: Continue repeating Steps 5 and 6 until you win by turn 3 or turn 4.

Problem Cards:
-Thalia, Guardian of Thraben shuts down the entire strategy unfortunately; I'd actually consider Daze just to ensure no T2 Thalia from DnT.
-More I can't think of right now.

Note: Not really expecting this to do well at all, but I'd figured a faster mana-base would allow for some really outrageous wins (especially considering I have a hard time failing to goldfish by turn 3 using the Modern version). Debating on whether Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, or Lotus Petal is better for this purpose ...

That's not going to work. 12 Lands and Diamond? No. You need two mana, your almost never going to have enough Lands to both pitch one and play one with 12 man. My modern list runs 16 land and that already can dance on the edge.
My modern list is:

//Creatures:
4 Puresteel Paladin
4 Sram, Senior Edificer

//Sorceries:
1 Grapeshot
4 Serum Visions

//Instants:
1 Hurkyl's Recall
2 Noxious Revival
4 Retract

//Artifacts:
4 Accorder's Shield
4 Bone Saw
4 Cathar's Shield
4 Mox Opal
4 Paradise Mantle
4 Spidersilk Net

//Lands:
2 Arid Mesa
2 Flooded Strand
2 Hallowed Fountain
1 Horizon Canopy
2 Plains
1 Sacred Foundry
2 Scalding Tarn
4 Seachrome Coast

//Sideboard:
4 Echoing Truth
1 Favor of the Mighty
3 Monastery Mentor
3 Paradoxical Outcome
1 Sigarda's Aid
3 Swan Song

This is not a deck I would look at in Legacy. One third of this deck does nothing without other cards, one third is mana and it has little space for protection. It works in Modern because a turn two win is something that most decks are not built to fight effectively, but it's not the same in Legacy. People have answers.

It's neat but unlike elves it can't just beat down as plan 2. Could be a fun surprise weeknight deck if you got it already built for modern though.
