Hey community,

I quit playing Magic like 7 years ago due to reallife. Last week I played Draft with some old mates and I really wanna come back to the Scene.
I played around 150 Legacy Tournaments and also had a lot of Action in this Forum, but actually my old account got deleted due to no active being.

I furthermore noticed, that Cards are very expensive compared to like 10 years ago, its kinda hilarious.
Legacy won't be a matter actually because its way too expensive for me, especially playing like Blue Control decks.

what would you suggest me for playing? which format? which decks to start with? Because im recently playing a lot of Hearthstone but this is compared to Magic silly and too boring and too much RNG.

Some good answers would be very nice, because I really wanna take part again in this awesome Card game.

Thank you very much

Play whatever your community plays the most and the format that you think you may enjoy the most. (you might want to shy away from standard even though it may be most played constructed in your area)

Are you from Munich/Augsburg? We had a player here who went by your nickname in Starcraft. Asking because if so, you could easily just borrow decks from us.

I think EDH, Cube and Draft are the best for Old School fellas if they prefer not to invest in legacy.
