I think a good habit to develop as well when sideboarding is jamming your sideboard into the main deck. Then take out 15 cards, so that you do not give any info on how many you brought in, or if any.

That's a good point! I remember learning that trick from something Patrick Chapin's wrote years ago!

It seems like people who typically run Leyline of Sanctity/Void in the SB as hate (meta call) usually run 4 of's as a go to default. I'm no math wiz, however I would bet if one were prepared to mull all the way down to 1 card to find the correct Leyline against burn or reanimator it might be possible to only run 3 of's or maybe even 2 of's in the SB? That could potentially free up more valuable SB room. I would be interested to hear any Leyline sideboarding theory.

Ive never done the math myself but lejay proposed and used 1 leyline of Sanctity in the doomsday sb. I think his claim was about 10% of opening hands would have it.

Working out the probabilties for finding an N-of with some number of mulligans is pretty straightforward. Working out which way any particular 4/3 split should go to optimize winning is basically impossible.
