Following the great success of the Legacy Mediocre League in 2016 our team once again gathered the best and the brightest minds in Eternal Magic (at least that’s what we told them) to run a league in our favourite format of Magic: the Gathering: Legacy! This time increasing the rooster to 16 players from four different continents — among them the reigning World Champion, the inventor of Legacy and a 3 6x FNM Champion — we’re looking to bring you even more instant action, creative problem-solving and other integral buzzwords! Nice start, good chat vibes. :D

Pros: Players and casters in chat, handcams, no stream disruptions, Anuraag didn't cast Mordor spells on us
Cons: Soundlevels (voice way too low) & (background) noises, sometimes cards from e.g. Ponder were not visible, Graveyards should be open all the time imho, no muffins, too many BUG decks :]

In short, pretty enjoyable but please pump up the sound quality. Thanks :)

With the new ban taking effect, are we still going to see Miracles decks in weeks 3 and 4 or will the pilots need to submit new Legacy-legal lists?

I guess everyone in weeks 3 and 4 should have to resubmit, given that the Miracles pilot already knows the other 3 decks.

We discussed this situation before the league started and agreed that in case of a SDT ban, everyone would get to resubmit decklists. This includes Group A+B players. A gets to resubmit because of the Wild Card round.

Game 2 of the final match, Jarvis on Reanimator vs Mike on BUG. Jarvis Entombs a Thoughtseize. The outlook was grim facing 2 DRS and an Ooze, so was he just trying to thin the deck a tiny bit or something? Or did he misclick.

Ah, so this means players will be using the same lists in the playoffs as in the first round. I was under the impression (hopes?) that they would have new decks each round.

The decklists only carry over to the Wild Card Round. Starting with Quarterfinals, we're doing Bo5 King of the Hill where each player brings 3 different decks.
