Hello everybody,
I've been reading this forum for quite some time, and I'm happy that I can make now my part and give my contribution to the Legacy community. With the help of a few fellow players, I started a YouTube channel and I finally managed to shoot and edit some Legacy content. As stated in the post title, it's a sideboard tech on 4-Color Deathblade, and I had the great pleasure to do this video with Christopher Wilhelm, who made top 8 at the Legacy event part of the MKM Series in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

I hope you guys enjoy. And of course remarks and suggestions are always more than welcome.
Cheers!

Thx for the great content. Liked the presentation a lot. The thing i didn't understand: why no Clique for the dnt-matchup. Should be a great card. It can even snatch the Equipment in response to the stoneforge activation. Same for vial activations. It can mess up their plan for the turn big time. What am i missing?

Hey, I'm glad you like the video. About your question, my guess is that the factor here is what else you would side out to make room for Clique. My theory is that Chris is happy to side out no more than 6 cards, so he had to make a choice, but that's just my guess. I will ask him as soon as I get the chance, as I'm also interested in this decision.

Hi there, sorry for keeping you waiting. Here's the feedback I got: Vendilion Clique does all the things you stated, but tends to be situational. Snatching an equipment is a good move, but still a temporary solution, unlike Thoughseize and Decay, as the equipment goes back into the deck and can be fetched again. It's a good tempo play, but not as strong as the disruption plan we want to go for here, and that requires more "high impact" cards. Clique can also be very good and very bad against Karakas, depending on what the D&T player has in hand. Given all this, the card isn't "bad", but would only be complementary asset to a plan that's already effective on its own (+2 Thoughseize, +2 Containment Priest, +2 Zealous Persecution). Therefore, boarding out one more card from the main to get Clique in it's simply not worthy in the end.
I hope that's helpful. And stay tuned for more videos
