So, this is not really my idea but I caught a guy streaming a similar deck a couple months ago and I really liked it. I built a version myself and have been enjoying it quite a bit. This is a blue-red Thing in the Ice deck. Here is the list I have been playing recently.
// Lands
2 Wasteland
3 Flooded Strand
4 Scalding Tarn
3 Grove of the Burnwillows
1 Mountain
4 sland
2 Volcanic Island
1 Tropical Island
// Creatures
4 Thing in the Ice/Awoken Horror
4 Snapcaster Mage
2 True-Name Nemesis
// Spells
2 Predict
1 Flusterstorm
1 Preordain
2 Jace, the Mind Sculptor
1 Dack Fayden
4 Lightning Bolt
3 Punishing Fire
4 Ponder
2 Engineered Explosives
2 Counterspell
4 Force of Will
4 Brainstorm
// Sideboard
SB: 1 Reverent Silence
SB: 1 Pyroblast
SB: 1 Pyroclasm
SB: 1 Pithing Needle
SB: 1 Null Rod
SB: 3 Surgical Extraction
SB: 2 Krosan Grip
SB: 1 Ancient Grudge
SB: 2 Vendilion Clique
SB: 2 Blood Moon
I will go over card choices but would really like to reach out to the guy who was streaming this deck originally. I would like to keep working on it. To be honest, I am typically not a force of will/tempo player and never got into delver decks, but this deck is strangely addictive for me. Anyone know the guy I am talking about? Or is this deck idea posted elsewhere?
