Although only GPs in the first half of 2018 are scheduled clearly, Wizards already announced that 4 Legacy GPs will be host in 2018!

At least we have one Legacy GP in Europe again:tongue:

Excited to visit friends in Seattle. I hope the other American GP (I'm assuming American) is East coast or Midwest since that's where a large bulk of the players are. Also because the flights are easier for me.

Up the count - team trios lets one guys play legacy all day....unless I've misread how trios works.

But you have to find someone dumb enough to play Standard.

This is awesome. I'm somewhat befuddled by the recent, seemingly unprompted uptick in legacy support, but I'm ALL IN for it.

YES

Can't wait for an announcement that we get another huge Legacy GP in Japan this year.

How about a Legacy GP in Canada?

I thought our handsome, suave PM was supposed to put Canada on the map?

Great!

I bash WotC a lot, so it's nice to be able to say something nice to them.

I have no love for Standard, but no need to shit on the players. We were all newbs once upon a time - and non-rotating formats are expensive these days (and the economy sucks).

Texan here: You're telling me Seattle isn't in Canada? I thought everything north of the Red River was part of The Great White North.

Naw, Seattle is the last keep defending the wall which separates us from the others. You may have heard it called Westwatch by the Sea.

We're trying to broker a deal where we trade Alberta and Saskatchewan for California, Washington, and Oregon.

Wizards after nearly 20 years of trying have worked out in the last 5 years how to make money off the eternal formats. Masters sets and Commander products are selling well as an additional revenue stream for them to standard.

It should be noted we have Iconic Masters coming in November & Masters 25 next April both of which will have eternal playable only cards in them.... got to give the people an outlet to play those cards.

Great news, made my day! I've always had a little bit of hope that things would change and this is definitely a good step in the right direction. Hopefully, we'll get a new wave of Legacy players (maybe of modest proportion, but still a good thing).
