Karn, the Great Creator + (e.g.) Bomat Courier

One of Karn, the Great Creator's loyalty abilities allows its controller to put an artifact card they own that is in exile into their hand. Bomat Courier exiles cards "face-down". Can Karn possibly fetch any cards that Bomar Courier exiled?

Karn’s last ability can’t get a face-down card in exile, even if you know it’s an artifact card.
