Instead of Bottle Gnomes, play Thornweald Archer to combat Goyf... or the 1{G/W}{G/W} 3/2 CIP +2 life, Persister from Shadowmoor. Either would be 400 times better than Bottle Gnomes.

Um, Bottle Gnomes isn't there to "combat" opposing Tarmogoyfs, it's there to pump my own. Neither of your recommendations (Thornwield Archer, Kitchen Finks) are as effective an answer to opposing Tarmogoyfs as running 'Goyfs of my own, and both are approximately 400 times worse at pumping said 'Goyfs.

Masques foil for sure, those always look great in combo decks.

No remandertext alt art extreamly rare foil. Which one sold for more I would guess the demonic but I could be wrong.

The Demonic is far ahead of the Desire, 2 DT's on auction, both at $250. Desire has an extra day and a half on both, but still only $76.

There's about 0 decks in Vintage that don't pack DT. There's a number that don't play storm, so Desire wouldn't be worth nearly as much. It's also rotating out of Extended soon, so nobody would ever bother trying to get 4, thankfully.

The disgusting thing is, I don't think people realize how rare 28 actually is. These two cards are now the rarest legal made cards that were considered "widely" released (I.E. non-insider promos, like Garfield's special stuff). 28 copies of either means they completely beat out the number of Beta's, Alphas, etc of any piece of Power 9, and beat out a majority of legal tournament promos. That's just sick.

I feel really sorry for my fellow Vintage blingers, because I almost shit a brick when I was told there were only 28 in existence. Now when I get a hold of one of each, I'm not even going to be able to play the damn things, for fear of them getting even the slightest scratch from sleeving them. Safety Deposit box agogo.

In all honesty, Chinese is complete crap.

I have no scans, but after tomorrow my Dragon Stompy will be completely Japanese. Youd be surprised to know how cheap Japanese cards are here (in Japan obviously). All locals are more than willing to trade their Japanese cards for my English, and shops sell English cards at higher prices than Japanese cards.

It's not really Legacy, well, not at all actually. This is my greatest pride, my 100-card MP deck (at this moment 115 cards). Beside the duals everything is either foil or the most expensive possible expension.

At this moment I'm looking for 4 Foil Gemstone Mines from Time Spiral and 4 Foil Ancestral Vision. Also I'm trying to get myself a Foil Demonic Tutor, just because I want it. My NM+ Alpha is WAY cooler that the Foil, but just the fact that there are only 28 in the world is enough reason for me to have one :D

Seems that Foil Infernal Contract prices are raising slightly recently, a contract just went for $20 on ebay.

Yeah, I bought it. It's difficult to tell how much they're really worth, because they are so rarely available. $20 seemed like a good price, though.

I'm trying to get a set of them because I don't really like foreign cards that much. Uber-sweet altered Thorns, though.

I was the one that cleared/bought a lot of them. Since I had 17 English Foils I did'nt want to pay $20 for it, so I passed. Foreign Foils that I missed are my priority though. Completing 2 binder pages of English Foils is just my additional side project. I still have some pimp SI/QSI components from my QSI left. I'm using just 4 Normal Foil English Contracts and English Cruel Bargains in the deck. I never used my chinese portal ones.

lawl. The only reason I was even thinking of WBing Ichorid is because I'm too cheap to buy AN Cities when my 7th Cities work just fine (I'm really falling out of the whole "pimp" thing now days... I just want either all WB or all BB within reason unless I can help it) and figured that since most of that shit isn't played outside of Ichorid anyways, why not just take that step and take some acetone to it.... all WB ichorid in black sleeves would probably look pretty cool, and the only thing I'd really be defiling is the LEDs, but I don't play Belcher or TES/Storm Combo so it's not a huge loss to me.

Edit: But I'm relatively shakey when i try to do that kind of shit and would likely fuck up teh cards. Too bad I probably can't get someone else to take a night and Acetone the borders of my ichorid deck....

I had never done any alterations ever but i wanted to make some decent proxies for a vintage tourney. I took 5 mishra baubles, taped off the edges and erased the text boxes, and names. It came out perfectly smooth and white. Just use scotch tape to mask off the edges and go to town with it. It will take some time to do an entire deck but it would be an awesome look.

I've always got something going with Michael, but even HE can't find Japanese Mirage stuff as cheap as I got those Mind Harness/Tranquil Domains.
Also, he never really has any Japanese D.Returns or Serenity in at all (I think he has one serenity right now)

Since you're on the subject, a friend of mine has a magic card with a normal back and a blank (all white) front and was curious if it was worth anything or if that type of misprint happens often.

It is very easily faked, which hurts the value. Just peel the foil off a card, and you will have a card with a magic back and blank front.
