This is a deck/concept i've been messing around with lately. this isn't a final decklist but rather a prototype...It looks very janky, and it totally is!!!...but the deck is fun and not all that bad
Land: 20
4 bloodstained mire
2 wooded foothills
2 polluted delta
4 scrubland
4 badlands
4 plateu
Creatures
4 carnophage
4 sarcomancy
4 dark confidant
4 flesh reaver
4 loxodon peacekeeper
4 swords to plowshares
4 lightning bolt
4 fireblast
4 chain lightning
4 jitte
sb
4 jotun grunt
4 disenchant
4 cabal therapy
3 phyrexian negator
pretty wierd ehh? well, most of the deck has good synergy with peacekeeper/fleshreaver. If you loose a lot of life, you can easily gain back life with jitte/swords (if desperate). sarcomancy is great with negator postboard and the combo match-up isn't bad at all while also maintaining a decent match-up against thresh. Goblins is debateable but I'll let you decide that your self. Red could be cut easily but I felt that it gives the deck that extra reach that you sometimes need and burn can often do the trick very well.

Run Helix, it's reach, and it nabs you life for Confidant. You ned Silver Knight in there, as it's a dead sexy bear.

Loxodon Peacekeeper and Burn? Er?
I suppose he does have bizarre synergy with Confidant and Flesh Reaver. I like Flesh Reaver if you include Helix, but Helix and Peacekeeper is bad. Why not Maindeck a couple of the Grunts?
Also, where's Isamaru, Puppy of Konda? I like him much better than Sarcomancy, or possibly in place of STP.

It looks like a blast to play because of the quirky life total management involved with the piecekeepers, and I don't see antisynergy with the burn as such (Shame on you, Tacosnape! I've been recklessly squandering my own life in straight burn decks to get everything out of Pulse of the Forge. Sadly, that's not even a joke.)
Swords has the same odd synergy and I assume it will be used on the keepers as emergency life gain occasionally.
Lightning Helix seems problematic since you often don't want more life; if any more Burn is needed I would suggest looking at Seal of Fire and Rift Bolt - both can act as finishers while giving you time to juggle with relative Life totals for at least another round.
I can see no reason to not include at least one Jötun Grunt in the main. It's a 4/4 and its ability will be advantageous quite often with no other cards to compete with it.
How often has losing Peacekeepers to your opponent's actions been a Problem? Plow your Confidant, swipe your Keeper seems painful. If your opponent is aware that intentionally mana burning yourself can be a valid play, they look troublesome to keep. The deck looks like it punishes opponents for playing on autopilot though, so I assume it wins games it has no business of winning.

yea, the syenergy with the deck and peacekeeper is pretty rad. And unlike a couple of other decks that run flesh reaver, its drawback can actually help you in this deck. I thought about running maybe two grunts maindeck. What do you suggest I cut?
Isamaru is a house and I originally was going to do a 2/2 split but the only reason I put sarcomacy instead was because its an extra perminent to sac to the negators post-board (if need be) and Also, I almost always have a zombie around so I probably won't loose life, but if I do, it might help more than hurt. I dunno though, isamaru does sound kinda juicy. just the legendary thing. Do you think I should swap out the sarcomancy for isamaru?
STP is SOO good. It works incredibly well because when you swords their dude and you have a peacekeeper out, it helps you that much more. Instead of you having to loose life, they just gain a little (which will be taken away shortly after)
as for lightning helix, its debatable. I should deffinately test it although the synergy w/peacekeeper isn't really optimal. I haven't had enough testing yet to tell if loosing peacekeeper to opponent will come up SUPER often. I will run it through a more extensive gauntlet (hopefully tonight, if not than soon).
sweet feedback! thanks for the insight and ideas guys
