Ok so here is one someone asked me and I didnt know the answer. If someone discards an arrogant wurm to wild mongrel do I have the option to chant before they pay the madness cost so they can not cast the creature or do they have priority when the card is discarded so they can pay it before I can cast my spell?

Thanks

When a card is discarded to madness, a triggered ability goes on the stack. The triggered ability allows the card's owner to play it for its madness cost. If you respond to the triggered ability with Orim's Chant, the card's owner will be unable to play it when the ability resolves. The card will then go to its owner's graveyard.
