I just want to make sure on these 3 questions, since they have come up lately in testing.

1. When playing Glacial Chasm w/ City of Traitors in play can I sacrifice the City of Traitors or do I have to sacrifice the City before Chasm's sacrifice even begins to happen? From what I'm aware, it recieved the same errata that Phyrexian Dreadnaught recieved so that it doesn't come into play unless I sacrifice a land in the first place and if not it goes directly into the graveyard.

2. Does Glacial Chasm come-into-play effect use the stack?

3. Zuran Orb currently reads 'sacrifice a land: you gain 2 life'. If I have a crucible in play, can I sacrifice a land and replay it without giving my opponent chance to remove the land from the game, via Tormod's Crypt, Cremate, etc.?

well I'll answer the one I'm sure of.

3. He can crypt you inresponce to the gaining 2 life while it's in teh graveyard because it's a cost to sac and you can't play land unless teh stack is empty.

For Reference

Cumulative upkeep-Pay 2 life.
If Glacial Chasm would come into play, sacrifice a land instead. If you do, put Glacial Chasm into play. If you don't, put it into its owner's graveyard.
Skip your combat phase.
Prevent all damage that would be dealt to you.
So the answers are
1)You can sacrifice City of Traitors to Glacial Chasm prior to having to sacrifice City of Traitors to its own ability.
2)Glacial Chasm doesn't have a come into play effect so no.
It has a replacement effect that modifies how it comes into play. Similar in concept to lands coming into play tapped.
3)No, you can only play a land when the stack is empty. Zuran Orb's life gain will be on the stack and your opponent can respond to it by removing the land sacrificed to the orb.
