Bad name, I know, but it gets the idea of the deck. I had been wanting to build a good Loam deck, but everything out there didn't look that great. It would have shitty combo MUs or what not, so I just thought about thresh and how with Loam it is pretty damn good. So anyway, here is the decklist that I threw together.

Mana Base
3 Wasteland
4 Maze of Ith
2 The Tabernacle of Pendrell Vale
3 Nantuko Monastary
3 Tranquil Thicket
2 Secluded Steppe
4 Windswept Heath
2 Flooded Strand
4 Savannah
3 Forest
1 Plains
1 Island

Creatures
4 Nimble Mongoose
4 Werebear
3 Mystic Enforcer
4 Meddling Mage
1 Squee, Goblin Nabob

Spells
4 Life From the Loam
4 Exploration
4 Solitary Confinement

Okay, so there is the list. Combination of 43 Lands, Thresh (just the creatures), and TerraGeddon. So how does it look. Here are the card choices.

Wasteland- Very strong in Legacy. Slows many decks down.
Maze of Ith- Works well to stop Piledrivers and Angels.
Tabernacle- For goblins and other aggro. Then you have Monastary as the back-up win-con.
Monastary- Another solid beater.
Thicket and Steppe- Recurrable card draw.
Fetches- Fixes color issues and thins out the deck.
Savannah- Most played colors in the deck.
Basics- Don't die to LD

Mongoose- 3/3 for one
Werebear- 4/4 for 2 and mana
Mystic Enforcer- 6/6 with flying for 4
Meddling Mage- Slow down combo till you can get confinement lock. Good all around.
Squee- Confinement lock.

Loam- Kind of need this.
Exploration- Get those lands out faster.
Confinement- For locks and to just win.

I really like this deck and want help to improve it. Have not had much time testing it though. None at all actually, but I would just like your help to fix this deck up and I will definitely keep testing. Thoughts?

I fail to see how this deck will have a better combo MU than other loam decks. Your only tools against combo are Confinement and Mage, but with no cantrips to dig, you are relying on topdecking the pieces or getting a cycle land lftl going (hard without dig/ burning wish).

Tabernacle seems out of place in an aggro-control deck.

Crop Rotation also looks like some good here, allowing those 4 of non mana lands to become a land toolbox. Rotation also allows for techy stuff like rotation in response to wasteland, or rotation for a fetch for a dual (3 cards in yard is good for thresh).

Terravore is good here too, especially with rotation.

And finally, if you don't want to run toolbox lands, try running riftstone portal to turn those Mazes, Wastes, and Tabernacles into mana sources.

How about "gamble"? or just stick with burning wish.

Why would you run Tabernacle in a deck with creatures? If your planning on playing Tabernacle, then I would look at going for the mana land plan, or cutting it and keep the creatures.

I have no idea how you can boast any better combo MUs than regular loam builds... thresh has a good combo MU due to its dig, countermagic, and utility spells... not to mention its' decent clock... you have none of these aspects to fall back on. what happens if you accidentally dredge your threats/locks away?

I never said it had a better combo MU than other Loam decks. I was saying combo is not one of Loams friends like 43 Lands and what not. This is why I am posting the deck to get help.

Tabernacle is out of place, but I neede more for Goblins and so this was what I thought of. Obviously it is bad with creatures so I put some Nantuko Monastarys in.

I never boasted. I said I am trying to get a good combo MU with confinement and mage. I still need help with the deck. Hence why I posted it.

A little more dredge (maybe? Some stinkweed Imps would be nice for removal) and some mishra's workshops so you can loam back threats outside of monastery.

Also you dont need to play basic lands, because there will ever be a wastland target, and you dont fear LD

I hope you meant Mishra's Factories  otherwise wrong threat, wrong format.... Perhaps concentrate the threat base? Terravore seems like a really good creature for a deck like this. Why no Glacial Chasm? If you have blue, why not add Intuition? How has your testing gone to date?
