Time: Doors open at 11am. Registration begins at 11am. Registration ends at
11:30 and play begins at 11:45.

Cost: $25 Entry Fee

Format: Legacy

Prizes: Top 8 players will make a selection from the following sets of Legacy staples. Each Top 8 player will a choose a set from the list below. Then the Top 2 players will each make an additional selection. This will follow the format of most drafts in Legacy, but the prizes are not limited to just Dual Lands. The prizes for the first 10 picks (Top8 and then Top2) are guaranteed. Additional prizes will be added if tournament players exceeds 50 players.

Judge: Ryan Stapleton, whose website can be found at here (www.bluewizard.net). I've worked with Ryan on previous tournaments and he has always been very good. Ryan has been kind enough to sanction this event for us as well. Please bring your DCI numbers with you and you will be able to register if you do not have one.

This tournament is made possible by PowerGamer1003, Krieger, and myself. We hope to see all of you at this event. We are still trying to include a greater selection of cards that can be selected by the Top 8, but we wanted to offer more than just Dual Lands as we know that many people are looking for different cards.

I believe there are a couple of hotels within a mile of the fudruckers. I'll check when I'm in the area tomorrow and try to get names/prices/addresses for people that are traveling.

On a side note, since the tournament starts at 11:45 there will be the weekly tournament at the Lucky Frog right across the street if you scrub out. Those tournaments are 1.5-$5 entry fee and prize support is store credit. I can't freakin wait!!!

Does anyone have questions about the prize structure? I just want to be clear that the first 10 picks which means players 1-8 and then 1 and then 2 will make one selection each in that order are guaranteed. You must pick a 4 of set as one of your selections.

She ended up being Playboy's Miss November of I think 1998 under the name "Tiffany Taylor". There will be no dealer at the tournament site. You are welcome to walk across the street to The Lucky Frog. They usually carry Legacy staples as well as cards from most of the magic sets. Though commons are usually harder to track down than Uncommons and Rares. I don't know if they buy crap rares, but you are welcome to ask.

I just came back from this tourney and Andrew Breke is a god.

He played agianst 3 Breakfast decks in the swiss and then in T8 and T4 he beats even more breakfast and did i mention he was palying Goblins , god good times. And my team was the one who lent him the deck ( It was his first tiem playing Legacy ) so we got 2 U.seas. Not bad :cool:

Hey guys, just wanted to say that the tournament was a blast, and it was definately a good first legacy event. Everyone was really cool, and I really enjoyed hanging out with all the Legacy players, even though I didn't know many people besides team Brown and some of the Frog players.

I just made that distinction because BHWC is really the only one that uses Pernicious Deed as its sweeper (I think that's the defining difference). The other decks are usually UW with some splash. They usually use Wrath of God or Humility as mass removal. I'm not sure it really matters for the purpose of looking at the metagame, but that's how I saw it.

You are correct. I've updated the list to reflect that. I played against Adam and I never saw the black, so when I looked at his decklist I put it down as UWG.
