Well, due to my lack of knowledge of legacy and the cards there-within, I did my best to convert my Standard Acid Drop deck (LINKED HERE (http://essentialmagic.com/decks/View.asp?ID=543799) ) over to legacy and got the list seen below. This deck really is just a casual deck and to me, doesnt have much of a shot of being anything real tournament worthy due to the fact that its spells cost a lot to play, but just in the event that theres something I am missing, I figgured I'd post the list and see if any amazing changes could be made to make it competitive in tournament play. Anyway, without further ado, this is my list for an acid drop deck, keep in mind I'm still a novice deck builder, but I can and will accept any constructive criticism.
Creatures //
3 Drake Familiar
3 Mesa Enchantress
3 Lost Auramancers
4 Dream Stalker
3 Vedalken Mastermind
Spells //
2 Worship
4 Reality Acid
4 Boomerang
3 Remove Enchantments
3 Rescue
2 Replenish
Artifacts //
4 Cloudstone Curio
Land Base //
4 Flooded Strand
4 Ancient Tomb
4 Tundra
6 Island
4 Plains
Sideboard //
3 Echoing Truth
3 Tormod's Crypt
3 Pithing Needle
3 False Demise
3 Wrath of God
How it works:
Acid Drop is based around bouncing Reality Acid in and out of play by the use of cards such as Boomerang, Dream Stalker, Rescue, and Cloudstone Curio which results in field control while you eat away at them with your creatures creatures.
I pondered adding in something like Sword of Fire and Ice to make the decks creature base actual threats once they hit the field, but neglected to do so because I didn't know what to swap out in that place. Also considered some counters but again, I dont know what to put in their place...maybe some Defense Grids could go in...
Yes I know its slow, but thats why I brought it here...hopefully with input it can be sped up and become a viable deck.
Most of the cards in here have pretty good synergy with the rest of the deck, the only major problem with the deck is its rather slow and pretty susceptable to counters and quick gobo's (until worship comes out). The majority of the creatures are good face-smackers for lackey's, but yeah thats all I got...
Anyway, your input would be much appreciated.
