Riptide Mangler
Creature - Beast
1U: Change Riptide Mangler's power to target creature's power. (It doesn't change back at end of turn.)
0/3
And the famous Goyf.
If I Mangler Goyf while he is a 4/5, he becomes a 0/5.
So...what happens if I use the Mangler on a Goyf while there are only a few types of cards in all graveyards, and then play some more card types?
What happens if I try to take Goyf's power again, trading the Riptide Mangler's power for Goyf's 0 power?
What if I steal Goyf's power while he is a 0/1? Basically, does it make him a 0/1 instead of a 0+*/1+* and make Riptide Mangler into a 0/3?
Thanks.

So basically you get Tarmogoyf's ability applied in 6a, and Riptide Mangler's applied in 6b.
Which means if your Tarmogoyf is made into a 0/5 by Riptide Mangler, and another card type hits play, your 'Goyf is going to be 0/6.
I think you misread how Riptide Mangler works. It says "Change Riptide Mangler's power to target creature's power", which means that it's the Mangler that changes its power. If you target a Grizzly Bear, the Mangler will become a 2/3, whereas the Bear will be unaffected.
AngryTroll's question is whether this ability is constantly checked or fixed upon resolution. SCG's Ask the Judge provides the answer:
Q: I have got a question about the Riptide Mangler (http://www.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Riptide%20Mangler): what happens if I change copy the power of a creature with a variable power, like Serra Avatar (http://www.starcitygames.com/cardsearch.php?singlesearch=Serra%20Avatar)? Will it stay that way forever?
A: The change of the Mangler is permanent. It will be set to the power of the Avatar when the ability resolves, it will stay the same until you use the ability again, even if the Avatar's power changes.

Oh. Yeah. Good point. I shouldn't answer questions at 4am.
Well if Riptide Mangler worked how I misread it, I'd be right though.
