Ok first the Decklist...

Main

Elves
3 Deranged Hermit
4 Fierce Empath
4 Sylvan Messenger
4 Wood Elves
4 Priest of Titania
4 Wirewood Symbiote
4 Fyndhorn Elves
4 Llanowar Elves

Disruption/Win Conditions
1 Myojin of Night's Reach
1 Myojin of Infinite Rage
1 Sundering Titan
1 Plated Slagwurm
1 Brass Herald
1 Duplicant

Engine
4 Food Chain

Land
19 Forest

Second i did not make this deck and have found it while searching germagic.de, apperently this deck placed first but i couldnt find the field that it was playing in..., also i couldnt find a sideboard

So, about the deck
High points
-Go off as soon as food chain hits the board and search for nights reach or rage w.e the situation calls for, titan is also a good pick but usually late game or mid game
-Food chain and the elves engine allows for the deck to search for answers.
-Strong game against goblins and most other aggro and an ok game against prison decks

Weak points
-Terrible game against combo, with no sb and elves generally have trouble against combo unless its domination elves and they gain infi life,
-iF food chain doesnt resolve its already an uphill battle since the only guy u can play is titan and slagwurm but he totally sucks,

Ok so the matches...

vs Angel Staxx --- favourable if food chain comes out, ghostly prison and smokestack wreck it though

vs Vial Goblins G/W/B Splash --- um strong game because it is just as fast although if food chain comes out u have the game most likely.

vs Thresh --- Terrible fow wrecks you if they just target ur food chain its really really hard to win

vs Combo --- TES, Belcher, SI, Ichorid/Friggorid u---- scoops ><

so im trying to figure out if i need to splash or do something with the landbase or add other dudes that are good so ideas are always welcome and i need some strong criticism Thanx ^^

Hey, this deck was originally designed by the infamousbearassassin with some silly name. That thread was archived awhile back, so it just falls off the grid. It was shelved because it basically no game against combo, despite being really cool. It just doesn't have the slots for real disruption, because it's so creature heavy. Maybe Lorwyn will have some big elves that will help this deck out (Sylvan Messenger sucks when it hits a myojin). There really just hasn't been any creature big enough to pull this off. Or an elf that gives haste. Man, this deck wants that elf.

I believe the original name was "Darwin's Revenge". Llanowar Empath seems like a nice fit, ramping up mana and chaining Elves together when you've got an active Food Chain. In a pinch, it helps dig for Food Chain when you haven't found one yet.

The version I tested a while ago used a combination of Duplicants and Sundering Titans as the fat win conditions, backed up by Deranged Hermits. I didn't bother using things like Brass Heralds, Myojins or Slagwurms as the combo/control matchups were already so horrendously bad that devoting silver bullet "answers" to those matchups was a waste of time.

The thread for Darwin's Revenge (Food Chain Elves) is right here (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2622). Feel free to necro it. This one is closed.
