The theme of this deck is to use various slow-trips and pain trips to fill up the yard to power out my Goyfs and Threshold creatures. The cantrips also help my deck see more of the cards that I want to see more often. All of the creatures chosen are either great for their mana cost, are difficult to remove, or become stronger as the graveyard is filled up with cards.
In addition to the excellent beaters I also have some disruption for combo and removal to deal with threats.
Beaters:
4 Kird Ape
4 Nimble Mongoose
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Keldon Marauders
4 Werebear
Removal:
4 Lightning Bolt
Disruption:
4 Duress
4 Cabal Therapy
Trips:
4 Street Wraith
4 Mishra's Bauble
4 Urza's Bauble
Lands
4 Bayou
3 Badlands
1 Forest
4 Taiga
4 Wooded Foothills
Cut Troll Ascetic. I know you like the card from other threads, but it is just subpar. Trying to keep 2 mana open and be casting creatures and disruption is hard thing to do with 16 lands.
I would also recommend a different set of cantrips. Things that actually do something. Like Cremate or something. Coold OD block cards that draw you a card and have little abilities. So I guess I should throw together a list.
Lands
4 Taiga
3 Bayou
4 Wooded Foothills
3 Bloodstained Mire
4 Wasteland
Creatures
4 Tarmogoyf
4 Nimble Mongoose
4 Kird Ape
4 Mogg Fanatic
Removal
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Pyroclasm
2 EE
Disruption
4 Duress
3 Extirpate
Cantrips
4 Cremate
4 Feral Instinct (Wins goyf wars. Best I could find.)
4 Bind
SB
4 Cabal Therapy
1 Extirpate
4 Engineered Plague
3 Pithing Needle
3 Krosan Grip
Cut a few cards, but something like this. It looks fun. You can change the cantrips to whatever and cut the LD if you cut binds. Wastelands are subpar on their own. Not sure if the 2cc on bind will work though.

Darkblast would not be better ?
A new red Lorwin cantrip deals 1 dmg to a player or a creature damaged in the turn for %R. It will be the best I guess...

By taking out the free cantrips I am defeating the whole purpose of the deck. On my first turn I can use 2-3 cantrips because they do not require mana. If I were to use a third creature I'd probably use Keldon Marauders as they also fill my yard.

Well I wanted something that cantrips.
No offense or anything, but it seems kind of stupid to design your deck around thresh creatures. Cool, you got a 3/3 and a 4/4 out fourth turn. You might as well make it more controling or make the crappy cantrips you have do something useful.
Another idea would be to use Pernicious Deed and sweepers plus reanimate. Atwa made a nice deck using that strategy.

No offense, but how is this poor man's thresh? You're running Goyf, 11 Revised duals, and 4 fetches, meaning this deck is likely at least as expensive as UGw or UGr Thresh builds. The only remaining expensive spell is Force of Will. I love cheap-ass decks but this just doesn't seem like one. =)
Incidentally, it'd be totally awesome to build a $50 thresh deck that's effective or at least decent in casual play. But is it possible?

4 Quirion Dryad
4 Werebear
4 Brainstorm
3 Daze
3 Misdirection
4 Portent
4 Predict
1 Rushing River
1 Snapback
4 Spell Snare
3 Stifle
3 Mental Note
4 Yavimaya Coast
10 Island
4 Forest
This is a heavily modified version of Peter O's deck. I put in Mental Notes to make up for the loss of fetchlands and Quirion Dryad does a decent Goyf impression. The manabase sucks, but there's not much you can do about it. I guess you could put in some crappy GU lands-- bouncelands or City of Brass or something.

I like the list but not running 4x daze is just wrong. Also, SDT and Counterbalance are fairly cheep as well.
