BR AggroControl.

Mana Base: I went with 3 badlands instead of four to make Price of Progress less likely to kill me.

Factory: Really good. Survives Damnation.

Grinning demon: Really big for his cost. He hurts sometimes, but usually crashes through for the win. Playing it as a morph creature is good too, most people dont expect it.

Withered Wretch: Can take away threshold and shrink tarmogoyf.

FTK
Duress
Hymn

Night's whisper: I was thinking about going with skeletal scrying, but if I had to remove my graveyard to shrink a goyf then it would be a dead card. I cant run confidant.

Price of Progress: Very good in alot of matchups these days. Usually deals a shitton of damage.

Damnation

Terminate: Why doesnt anybody run this?

Bolt

Pyroclasm: Wog vs goblins, can kill off zombie tokens made from bridge. ETW tokens.

SB:
Leyline: Makes ichorid matchup possible
Chalice: Comes in vs combo
Nullrod: Really good vs affinity (meh). Stops artifact mana in combo decks. And belcher. It also stops Zuran orb, which matters against 43lands.dec.
----

I think combo is a rough matchup right now.

How is this deck better than Death Pit Aggro?

I think your taking a wrong taking on the deck. I have toyed with BR before (although more control than agro-control), and found that Burning Wish is really nice, getting Damnation from the side as well as other bombs like Haunting Echoes. I think if you were to take the deck RBG you could run Pernicious Deed as well (you will never guess it) Goyf. Yeah, yeah, I know, goyf this and goyf that, but you know, we needs more goyf. Goyf is really powerful.

Anyways, RGB ftw. I can't think of a list right now, but you could take it a bit like truffle shuffle, but going red over white for a more agressive approach (which I think is the reason Truffle Shuffle isn't having more sucess).

I think the Price of Progress'es are out of place. Control decks aren't meant to deal direct damage only occasionally when you have no creatures to burn away but even then it's a waste. I would replace them with some sort of land destruction, maybe Pillage or you can even go Avalanche Riders along with Volrath's Stronghold for some 'super synergy'. Just my two cents.
