Okay, I have put this tournament off long enough looking for a cool prize. So I will just give away some stuff I have here on my desk, and you guys get to play with banned cards!

Here's what I will award to the winner:

4x Hermit Druid (courtesy of Cait Sith)

4x Pyroclasm

Entry for the tournament will close on Thursday at 6 PM. Hopefully I can get someone to help me with pairings (Adam?) afer that.

Post your name and other necessary information (security code, IM screenname, etc.,) so I can get the list going right away. Untimed swiss, best of three, cut to top eight.

I won't have specific round deadlines, but if you're holding up the tournament and your opponent is on the forum/AIM and you're not, I reserve the right to award match losses. Hopefully this will work out as well as Parcher's tournaments, so read his description of what they ought to be like http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6248.

Just in case you missed it, this tournament is "special" because I will let you play with one playset of any of these banned cards:

That means you can play with 4 Grim Monolith, but NOT 2 Grim Monolith and 2 Metalworker, and obviously not 4 of both.

Why should I get a loss? And what does MIA mean? I pmed dragon 2 times and tried to contact him via AIM. Last week he told me that he has problems with his internet connection.

When you want to go on then give us a draw. This is my opinion. I don't know how dragon think about that.

Hey. In a tournament where both Hermit Druid and Entomb are actually legal cards, I guess that Leyline is in about every sideboard anyways. :rolleyes: So, given the nature of the special rules of this tournament, telling that Leyline is hate against someone's deck isn't that of a surprise, nope ?

Well... Information is really important, but information about a generic deck type that you would easily recognize after turn 1 or 2 if there is one shouldn't be much of a difference, IMHO.

How could his Anti-Combo-deck beat Goblins 2-0? Looks like a 80% matchup for the Gobs pre and postboard to me.

I was surprised too, honestly, since I had decided not to SB any Plagues. Manascrew helped in one game in the Swiss, but it also turns out that seven kill spells plus 3 EE are pretty good in the Thresh vs. Gobs matchup.

Game one I kept a really iffy hand of four lands and three three drop goblins. My first two draws were also lands.

Game two he played two Mongeese and a 'goyf. Oh yeah, and a Tombstalker.
