NONE - Absolutely free!

Yeah, I caught the "ad" tonight too. I joined, since it's nice to have an online "tournament" where you can play any format you like. Plus, a 1.5 match has already been recorded, so there's at least two people playing Legacy already.

This is cool, im in. Now i have to make(netdeck) a standard, extended, and T1 deck.
and T1 deck.
It needs to play Future Sight (and Gush, but I figured you'd know that part).

The prize support is ok, but since I don't run those Messenger thingies, finding an opponent is hard...if they had an IRC channel for it, that would be the best solution, I think.

I wonder how places are determined? Is it by highest percentage of games won out of games played, with ties resolved by whoever had the higher number of games? Or something? Is there a schedule, or a limit to the number of games you can play? Am I totally missing something?

How is Rating Determined?
Your rating will be determined exactly in the same manner as the DCI (using the same equation even). Please keep in mind however, your AGOL rating is in no way associated with your DCI rating. For those of you that understand how the Elo rating works, we will be using an 8k-value which holds about the same weight as an FNM match. All players will start each season with a 1600 rating.
(snip)
How is Ranking Determined?
Ranking is based on your rating and goes directly down the line with the player ranked #1 having the highest total rating. However, please keep in mind a player must complete a minimum of 5 matches in order to be ranked. Completed means a full match finished and reported. Matches awarded due to an opponent's cheating, disconnecting, etc., are not counted towards your minimum 5. Please keep in mind that these matches do count towards your rating, however you must complete 5 "full" matches in order to be ranked. This is to prevent extravagant forms of cheating and multiplayering.
I think it would be pretty cool if the Source MWS players joined en masse and AGOL became a mostly Legacy league.

Yea, would be great...we could also meet at #mtgthesource on SolidIRC to find opponents for games...

Hey theres 36 people in this thing. If 14 more people sign up then first prize is 18 packs. Just so you know as long as you get 5 matches complete you are ranked so basically you can join any time you want.

RAHR, I approve of this idea. I have no idea why I just RAHR'd.

There are currently 43 members signed up for this. We just need 7 more people and the prize support will be bumped up to half a box for first.

Theres a little over fifty people for this so the prize support is 18 packs for first. The Winter League starts at the end of the month.
Also i agree, if we could get this to be a legacy only format then the league would be much more enjoyable. The only games ive been able to play are t2 with 1 of the few pet decks i have.
