Windbrisk Heights - Land
So when I saw this card spoiled, I figured their had to be some deck that utilized it. I always liked blue splash white weenie in vintage that ran ancestral and time walk. It was not exactly a tier one deck, nor will this be, but it might be fun.
Card text: Hideaway (This land comes into play tapped. When it does, look at the top four cards of your library, remove one from the game face down, then put the rest on the bottom of your library.)
Tap: Add W to your mana pool.
W, Tap: You may play the removed card without paying its mana cost if you attacked with three or more creatures this turn.
So given that you have 3 men committed to the board and swinging, the question is what can you do in order to out and out win from that position. I figure time stretch is a good bet.
Card text: Target player takes two extra turns
after this one.
So here is the tentative list I have put together. It’s not very good, and I am hoping some people who have some experience with WW can chime in.
Force of Will 4
Brain Storm 4
Swords to Plowshares 4
Time Stretch 2
Mystic Tutor 3
Windbrisk Heights 3
Silver Knight 4
Raise the Alarm 4
Galina's Knight 4
Tarmagoyf 4
Weathered Wayfarer 4
Umezawa's Jitte 3
Flooded Strand 4
Windswept Hearth 4
Tundra 4
Savanna 2
Plains 3
What I like about this deck it that two turns is enough time to replay the combo, if need be. Also, Jitte is gross with any kind of sustained swings that this deck could provide. Is this Idea still-born? Strictly casual?
Thanks for any feed back in advance.
