The 1 Pernicious Deed seems very random. You have no way to search for it, though you do have a good amount of draw. Did you every need the Deed but couldn't find it in time?
Is finkel good anymore? How often were you able to do anything relevant with him that another creature couldn't do just as well(i.e. beat with equipment)?

Finkel actually won me some games. One it is unblockable and with the Jitte I was attacking, getting counters and moving Jitte onto a blocker for more counters. It is also a target for force of will, if I don't need it. The one deed is moved to the board right now. The few times I went to play it, it was countered. Which I didn't mind because it opened up some better cards to get into play. I am working on getting the 12/12 trample into the deck for a one counter vial play with stiffles main deck. I get a lot of use out of stifle and if the big guy resolves he is a game winner. Also having the stifles main deck helps against TEPS, which was the only deck I lost to in the tourny. Would have taken game 3 in the top eight if I didn't make a huge play mistake.

So I played with this deck again and took first place sunday at the UMTW. The list was very similar, which will be posted here as soon as it's posted in the thread for the UMTW.

Not to say anything really, but the deck looks extremely... janky, sort of. I mean, lots of 1-ofs and 2-ofs with no real way to tutor them up other than a bunch of cantrips and standstills. I may be wrong, but this "nah, its better to run it as a 1-of and use prayer to tutor it up with" method have never worked for me in my experience.
How is that working out for you?

Hey congrats on the 1st place finish Jared. I like this build but have a couple of questions. Why are you running Doran, he makes Sea Drake smaller and has a minimal effect on the rest of your creatures? Is there a reason you are running 61 cards? There are 4 one of's in this deck, couldn't you cut a Spell Snare or Daze to drop the deck to 60 cards? Please fill me in on some of your choices with this build.

Yeah congrats Jared. I would take out all your 1 ofs and up the count of the Serendib Efreets as well as Sea drakes. Daze seems stupid to run as a 1 of because of the less chance to draw it and is crap in the late game, as said before Doran hurts you. What was your reason for it? Anyways congrats on the 1st place finish.

I think you have the right idea on getting rid of the 1 of's, but I think it would be more wise to add more cantrips. I would like to see the 1 ofs cut and get replaced with ponder, as it is the second best draw spell in the format. I believe this will add more consistency to the deck with the ability to always draw threats or answers.
I was wondering if someone could give me a hint on why this deck is called Armo-Still? I get that it does run standstill, but where does the Armo come from?

The armo was tarmogoyf shortended. The doran pulled off a win in the finals. I had two serendibs out and vialed out doran. Colin had a birds of paradise untapped. I toped decked a swords to take out the bird and swing in for the win, he was at 8 life.
I didn't want to play more than 1 Doran, thus a one of. I like him by himself and he pumps goyfs and serendibs. As for sea drake, I'll take my chances. I play the one daze and one spell snare for extra counterspell's. I don't always have 2U for counterspell, so I wanted counters for less mana. I don't always like daze or spellsnare so I play one of each. I have extra spell snare's in the sideboard for certain matchups, and board out the daze or irrelavant cards when they go in. Ponder was a last minute add in for 1 serendib, I thought I had enough of a creature base already.
