Just wanted to let all the locals for the syracuse and eastern NY area know that the first of the MTG City Championship series events is being held on 11/10/07 saturday at Comix Zone in North Syracuse. The events culminate in april with an 8 man invitation only tourny where top prize is an invite to nationals. The format this week is Standard. The event starts at 11am with sign ups starting at 10am. This event, while not a legacy event will help to keep bringing better event to CNY. If these tournaments go off well then there will be a better chance to get more premier events local to syracuse. Also the larger the tournout the better the prize support (boxes may be given based on DCI support and attendance). Event costs $5.
