So, I'm perusing eBay just now looking for Spanish Force of Wills (Call me if you got some) and I discovered a set called "Salvat," which includes a bunch of weird cards (e.g. That elvish ambush commander, diabolic tutor, and a couple other weird ones).

It even has its own expansion symbol, which can be seen towrads the bottom of this auction: Right here (http://cgi.ebay.com/Diabolic-Tutor-Spanish-Salvat-MINT-MTG-Magic_W0QQitemZ170138064106QQihZ007QQcategoryZ218QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

Anyone from Paraguay/Spain/Wherever this was printed feel like explaining?

Here ya go! http://www.magiclibrarities.net/135-rarities-salvat-magic-encyclopedia-cards-spanish-cards-index.html

Not really a common thing, most people don't even know it exists.
This is pretty damn hot, though, NEW FRAME CONTRACT (http://www.magiclibrarities.net/152-640-rarities-infernal-contract-zoom-card.html#return)

Oh man I would love some basic lands from that set. Is that a unicorn as the expansion symbol? Fuck yes!

OMFG!! What's doing that in The Source? That's totally shit. I live in Spain and I can tell this is only for making money from kids. Of course it's strange, as strange as pink shit... It's something like Coldsnap-packs Ice Age Brainstorm, something inside you feel sinful and dirty. Seriously, Salvat makes baby Jesus cry.

This "set" was mostly made of 9th cards plus some Ravnica block commons.

Are there foils in the set, and if so, are they black bordered? Shiny unicorn lands could be kind of sexy...

Those cards also exist in French. I don't know anything about the Spanish version though. But here is what I know about the French cards, since these are available in newspaper stores here in Belgium.

It's a French magazine about Magic the gathering that explains Magic to new players. It's build so that you actually have to collect all the numbers and you can split the pages and put them in a nice binder.
And yes, with each number you get some cards. All of them are French, white boardered and have the special expansion symbol. Some of those cards are really pimp though, nothing beats white boardered Ninja of the Deep Hours :p

Sorry for the sucky quality of the scan

Hombre Rat (http://www.magiclibrarities.net/152-633-rarities-dirty-wererat-zoom-card.html#return) makes it happen!

Wow, that's one of the few times that I'd agree that unpimping is just more bling. I'd be all over getting a set of those Ninja of the Deep Hours and the flip-rats (Graverobbers, I assume) from the black deck. Sexay.

Looks like they flubbed the Sylesnya Guildmage (http://www.magiclibrarities.net/137-726-rarities-selesnya-guildmage-zoom-card.html#return). They printed it with the wrong(Red/green) hybrid mana symbol.

If I wasn't hurting for cash I would love to try and acquire some of these because they just seem so awesome.
