I owned about 40 as they where buyable at 8$/Playset Chinese, also 8 Foil Chinese for 10$/each.

Now I own 3 Japanese (2 Altered) and 2 Chinese Altered.

I had 15. 4 normal, 4 S-Chinese, 5 Foil, 3 S-Chinese Foil...for which I paid a grand total of $220. Now I have $$$, 4 normal goyfs, a Library of Alexandria, Beta Taiga, and a Foil Darksteel Collosus. Oh how it pays to be in the know.

Traded 2 for 2 Foil Damnations, Sold 4 after the block GP when they were like 20 and bought Scrubs. Traded 2 more for 4 Signed Deeds and 3 Vindicates. Now I have 4 left

I got my playset for $12 from SCG just after the FS prerelease (Monday morning). I knew this card was going to be awesome in Threshold, but didn't know how and where else it would turn up. By Wednesday or Thursday of that week, I noticed that Blackborder.com had organized their inventory and was selling them for $1.39 each. I sorta kicked myself, but still thought $3 each was acceptable, so it wasn't too painful.

Then I looked yesterday and they're like $35-$40 each. I can't say I saw that coming.

Yeah. Ravagers dropped from ~$20-$25 to $10 - $14 when they rotated out/got banned (+3 months), and that's the most recent high $ T2 card in a long, long time (other than the Ravnica duals).

I don't know how much Tarmogoyf will drop, but it will probably be closer to $12 - $18, instead of $30 - $35, in 2009.

I have 3 foil, 4 non foil, and I'll be getting the 4th foil within the next week or so from a trade that I'm just wrapping up on MOTL. Whoever asked whether it would be a good idea to trade 2 non foil for 1 foil, NO. Normal goyf is like 30-35, foil goyf is like 50-55. You do the math.
