502.56a - Ripple is a triggered ability that functions while the card with ripple is on the stack. "Ripple N" means "When you play this spell, you may reveal the top N cards of your library, or, if there are fewer than N cards in your library, you may reveal all the cards in your library. If you reveal cards from your library this way, you may play any of those cards with the same name as this spell without paying their mana costs, then put all revealed cards not played this way on the bottom of your library in any order." [CompRules 2006/07/17]
502.56b - If a spell has multiple instances of ripple, each triggers separately. [CompRules 2006/07/15]
502.56.Ruling.1 - When you play a spell with ripple, the ripple ability will resolve before the spell does. This is because Ripple triggers when the spell goes on the stack and ends up on top of it on the stack. [Coldsnap FAQ 2006/06/14]
502.56.Ruling.2 - You are not required to play any spells with the same name, but if you don't play them they go on the bottom of your library with the other cards. [Coldsnap FAQ 2006/06/14]
502.56.Ruling.3 - For each revealed card you choose to play, follow all the normal steps for playing it, though you won't have to pay its mana cost. Any additional costs are paid as normal. All cards played this way go on the stack on top of the original spell, then all abilities that trigger when you play the new spells (including their ripple abilities) go on the stack on top of them. [Coldsnap FAQ 2006/06/14]

Ok here is my question.

Suppose I have a Thrumming stone in play. A Salvage in the yard. A Salvage in the GY and a salvage on the top of my library.

If I play salvage targeting a salvage in my gy and the ripple goes on the stack. So the stack looks like:

Ripple
Salvage

Now The ripple resolves first so I look remove the top 4 and I can play the salvage on top of my library with no mana cost.

Do I have to play the spell immediately? As in how long do I have to play the spell. And if the card is a sorcery how am I aloud to play it with other spells and abilities on the stack?

If I have to wait until the stack clears to play the free salvage. I could wait for the first salvage to resolve and just repeat the process infinetly.

I think a similar thing could be done with sensei's top. but im not sure.

My goal is to generate an infinet storm count while sifting through my deck with the ripple and stacking it.

Which brings up another question. If I have an infinet loop and the number of cards in my library is not a multiple of 4 could I say that i repeat the loop untill my library is in a certain order?

This isn't going to work.

You must choose to play the Salvage on top of your library as the Ripple trigger resolves. When you do, you're going to put another Salvage on the stack, and another Ripple trigger, so your stack will be:

Ripple Trigger
Salvage (The one that was on top of your library, targeting whatever)
Salvage (The one you played from hand, still targeting the one in the yard)

Your Ripple trigger will resolve first and presumably miss any other copies of Salvage. Then your two Salvages will resolve, putting cards on top of your library. Unfortunately, you won't have any Salvages left in your hand to restart the Ripple sequence.

This thread reminds me of a thread back on StarCity where some idiot asked "What would be the best deck if the 4 of rule were repealed?" People basically concluded that the best deck would be something like 24 Simian Spirit Guide, 36 Surging Flame. You could almost always win on turn 0 without fizzling, but of course your opponent would probably be playing the same thing so it would get tricky with who would want to go off first, ya know with the stack and such, fun stuff, fun stuff.
