Brownie is no longer a creature type. There are now a greater number of Ouphe's, including Pyknite. Strangely, Fyndhorn Brownie is an Ouphe while Shelkin Brownie is a Faerie.
What does this mean?
Well, absolutely nothing.
EDIT: Lycanthrope isn't a creature type any more. All the Werewolves (all three of them) are Human Wolf creatures.

I've found all the recent creature type changes to be complicated and unnecessary.

Agreed. I find it ammusing how they change the creature types in an era of trying to restore cards to their origional printed wording. Just like when they removed the creature types legendary and wall from having special abilites and at the same time added special abilites to the land types forest, plains, etc...
