Hammafist takes 3rd and 5th at ELD Mox Tourney

ELD Held one of his T1 Mox Tournaments at Gateway Comics in Wareham, MA today (1-26-08) Although its not Legacy, I just figured I'd post it since Hammafist took 3rd and 5th. I personally couldn't play since I was working but Rob (HammafistRoob) and Rodney (Roodmistah) played my T1 Deck: Ichorid and A deck solely of my creation (I made it last night as a matter of fact) Gush Nought.
Roob took 3rd With this Ichorid List losing to Bomberman (the eventual winner) in T4:

Rodney Grabbed 5th losing to GAT on a savage last turn Yawgmoth's Will topdeck into complete gush combo win (It was ridiculous he had: Island, Flooded, Mox Sapphire in hand and only land land fastbond in play with 1 Gush in GY. He gushed into gush gush and then went nuts.)

Anyways play of the Tournament:
Roob Vs. Eli (Playing Hulk Flash) In T8:
T1: Roob taps Bazaar and discards Golgari Grave-Troll, Ichorid, Bride from Below.
T1: Eli combo's off and grabs 3 Verulant Sliver, 1 Heart Sliver (because he has 1 V. Sliver in hand). He Swings. Rob cycles: Street Wraith: Dredge GGT: 5 cards and then on the 6th card Narco-Fucking-Moeba. Block to Live 9 poison counters.
T2 Roob goes nuts and combos out enough to have like 8 Blocking Zombies and Full combo the next turn for win.

So yeah, moral of this Story: Team Hammafist can be beast in T1 even though we don't play the format. Our Bad.

Yeah dude, that tourney was pretty sick. I think there was 30 or 29 players. That same GAT player that beat Rodney also had a savage Gush vs. me getting Ancestral Recall and Vampiric Tutor. Whatever I just had to bang him out in G3.
