If a Trinisphere active and untapped, does it affect Affinity when the costs try to dip bellow 3?

Yes, regardless of how many artifacts are out, it will cost a minimum of three.

To play a spell, you pay mana cost + a cost modifiers [affinity, Thorn, ect.] and then, Trinisphere.

Someone should seriously consider putting up a Trinisphere sticky. We get Trinisphere questions on this forum about once a week.Wouldn't this consist of one simple phrase: "Yes, you still pay three."?
