Hello folks, I'll be in San Diego for Comiccon in July, and in Chicago in May.

I know San Diego has an active Legacy community, but where do you guys play? Are there weekly tourneys anywhere on the weekends, or other Legacy-centric gatherings?

How about Chicago? I'll be there for less time and am not sure about transportation, but it'd be fun to have a few casual duels or go to a local tourney too.

PMs or replies in the thread are both welcome. Thanks!

EDIT: I read the thread of weekly tournies (http://www.mtgthesource.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1798), and there seems to be some in San Diego, but not much in Chicago itself. General information (not just tournies) would also be appreciated!

Do Crazy Fred's or GameEmpire still hold legacy events? I'll be down there this year for college so I'm trying to figure out where i can play

Hey I'll actually be in Chicago in a few months too. I've been living in South Korea (no legacy here) but I'll be moving home soon. Where can I find legacy events in Chicago? Thanks.

There is Legacy every Monday at the College of DuPage cafeteria in Glen Ellyn.

425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL‎ 60137

Also, every Wednesday we have Vintage in the same place if you are interested. 10 proxies.

On at least one Saturday a month there is a larger tournament either Legacy or Vintage in Schiller Park at Astro City Games.
