It comes out March 1st. Today is February 29th. FAIL
EDIT: Apparently Wizards is unaware of leap year this year. Sorry about that.

That is updated for tomorrow, I guess they forgot about leap year. The change to extended is a little interesting. Another year of fetches, and goblins.

You seriously expected them to ban fetches!? And Goblins is hardly dominant right now.

There is no article or any link that I could find that accompanies any changes to the formats. Anyone have one?
EDIT: Found it. (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dci/announce/dci20080229a)
And Bladewing he is talking about the update to the Extended rotation next October. The new Extended after the rotation will be Onslaught Block forward. So fetches and Goblins still legal.
In short, except for the changes to the Extended rotation, no updates to any format's Banned or Restricted lists.

It wasn't banning he was talking about. It was general Extended Rotation.

Sorry I just figured it was about Legacy because of the thread title, I don't really keep track of Extended. But I thought that the rotation was going to be Mirrodin/8th up legal. I guess they would rather do this than reprint the fetches?

Wizards FAILED!!! FAILED!!! FAILED!!!
By June they should pay attention as it serves as a stepping stone to when rotation is coming near.
I really wish they had made some changes. It is always fun to get a little spice, not too much where you have to get water or anything, but enough to create a little flavor.

Quote Bardo. The format is fucking fine. Better to leave well enough alone than to screw us over like they did with Flash. Wizards failed? How so? We have a well developed format that is competitive, and nothing is broken as shit. As far as all you 'goyf nay-sayers, life goes on, you should have had the intuition to pick up a playset for $8. He's not breaking the format, chill.
Lol. I know its fine. I love where the format is at. I just liked the week where we got those 2 new toys to play with.

I can accept this and understand that it's good for the format, but I would have liked to see Legacy shaken up a bit, if only to see some new archetypes and ideas unveiled. Hopefully we'll get something neat in June.

I agree. Everything is fine right now, but it wouldn't have hurt to get something old - new again.
