Well, let me start out on the happy note that I totally scrubbed out in a ten player legacy tournament. I could argue in my defense that I had no clue what the meta would be like, but then again, that'd be a waste of time.
I went 1-2-0 with the following list:

Not Quite Anything

~Mana~
10 Plains
3 Ancient Tomb
1 City of Traitors
4 Flagstones of Trokair
4 Chrome Mox
~Stompy~
3 Exalted Angel
2 Savannah Lions
1 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
2 Serra Avenger
4 Silver Knight
1 White Knight
4 Mother of Runes
2 Mask of Memory
1 Sword of Light and Shadow
2 Sword of Fire and Ice
~Control~
2 Armageddon
3 Cataclysm
1 Magus of the Tabernacle
4 Swords to Plowshares
~Weird Stuff~
2 Shining Shoal
4 Mana Tithe

Sideboard:
1 Armageddon
1 Cataclysm
4 Trinisphere
1 Abeyance
2 Disenchant
4 Ghostly Prison
2 Suppression Field

In my defense, I had no idea I was going to be in any kind of tourney. This pile of...well... 'unfocused awesome' is what I ran. Obviously I am trying to build Angel Stompy, but due to a shortage of cards, that turned out to be rather difficult. I even went to the store to specifically buy/trade the missing pieces (but somehow it seems Razor Golem is not ranked high in the trade department and therefore generally left at home), but it turned out on location that the players were one man shy of ten (and thus the two Tundra price support). Showing my Superhero Hamsterness, I decided to just see where the deck would take me and have a good time.
We played three rounds and then a cut to T4 would happen.

The meta looked like
1 Red Control Burn (chalice at one, burn cc2+. Did not play against it, but had a talkthrough with the player. Ended fourth.)
2 Aggro Loam (GRB, both builds ran devastating dreams and seismic assault along with teravore and Goyf for the kill. Draw via Confidants.)
2 ***** (GUb and GUr, taking second and third respectively)
1 GB Homemade (Confidants, Goyf, Sinkhole, Specters...Kinda Eva Green)
1 Rock (WGB. Sinkholes, wastelands, Goyf, Confidants. Took first place)
1 Solidarity (Possibly the worst build of it ever. Resets all main, no Think Twice, ... went 0-3)
1 Red Death Variant (Sinkholes, Discard, no negator though)
1 Random White thing (that'd be me)

The games went pretty quickly though
Round 1: Aggro Loam
G1: My notes reveal I am frighteningly outmatched by a huge teravore and never see a Plowshare.
G2: He gets a double Loam going (to recover from my Geddon) but cannot keep a creature on the table or cycle land often as I have a Suppression Field down and a Ghostly Prison to protect myself a little. He deeds for 3 (paying 5). He proceeds to play Seismic Assault and throws a lot of land to my face eventually. Ouch.
0-1

Round 2: Eva Green Variant
G1: I win via Exalted + Mask of Memory pretty quickly.
G2: I die to Hypnotic Specters wielding Jitte. Ouch.
G3: I beat down with a White Knight having a Mother of Runes down. He dies to his own Confidant upkeep (Shriekmaw).

Round 3: Rock
My notes on this one are pretty clear.
G1: He's at three life, goes Deed + Goyf. Awesome play, I cannot recover in time.
G2: Deed + Deed + Deed + Goyf + Confidant. Ouch.

In all, I had a pretty nice tourney.

Uhhhh Solidarity has never run a Reset in the side and Think Twice, in no way, shape or form, is a must have in the deck.

Eww. I run a reset side just to make sure I can go off. Worst case scenario that came up was turn 4, before stack and with two meditates in hand, is going
High Tide - Cunning Wish for ... Where's my reset?
What would the advantage be to having 4 resets main anyway? You draw them on more awkward moments?
And Think Twice is, imo, one of the few cards that is generally useful in the local meta. It negates discard a little.
Then again, this is a thread dedicated to my glorious scrub, not to how I think Solidarity should look ^^.

Turnabout... All I am saying is that Reset should be main. All 4. You have so much draw that you should find it. Think Twice is meh. Anyway, the deck looks pretty bad. Not to be mean because I know you are still finishing it, but it is probably why you scrubbed out so hard. Also, against Aggro Loam, why did you keep Geddons in? Wouldn't Disenchant and Supression Field do more against them. You make their creatures bigger and they can recover faster.

Geddons stayed in because I didn't really have things to take from side.
It was kept in for the poor lone Magus of the Tabernacle as well. If only I had gotten more of him, I would have been able to make Armageddon Stax...
I hadn't seen the seismic game one, so blind-boarding disenchants was out for me.

And yes, the deck is shitty. The 'unfocused awesome' is kinda sarcastic, I was not serious about that at all. And critiques on it are always welcome, though I generally know what is wrong with it XD.

do you happen to know the decklist for that mono-red control/burn deck? it's for a friend of mine (his pet deck, in need of some tweaks)

The red control player had something along the following lines:

4x Mogg Fanatic
2x Magus of the moon
4x Keldon marauder
3x Stoneside Crusher
4x Ensnaring Bridge
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Magma Jet
2x Fireblast
3x Price of Progress
3x Sudden Shock
*x Chalice of the Void
17x Mountain
other stuff

The best about this deck is the bridge. It's enormously good in the current metagame. I played rock that day(game3 of the original report) and eventually won. My first round i was paired against the red control player and bridge needs to be dealt with or I wouldn't get through. Only running 3 Vindicate to deal with it makes it hard and the other 3 Pernicious Deed would blow my board as well. Also, stoneside is good and should even be dropped with a bridge online. It stops you from drawing land and if the opponent destroys the bridge you'll have a beater!
I beat him in the semifinals with 2-0 thanks to just putting him under pressure and forcing him to burn creatures after double destroying bridges. Game2 was Jitte action.
After some discussion he is going to replace the Sudden Shocks with Ankh of Mishra which is probably enormous against many decks.

On Topic: Game was great. Game1 I was scared though. He had a Knight + Mask of memory. I drop Deed, ready to blow next turn but you find the land needed for Armageddon. I luckily topdeck double land and manage to clean the board and then recover with Life from the Loam. Game2 was indeed a bit one sided :).

You should have more faith in yourself though.

Hehe, I will, once I manage to complete the deck. I am helping Werner (the owner) sort out cards on thursday, so I should be able to pick up whatever I need then.

Glad to see you posting here though, I never got round to asking your mail addy XD

I normally don't post much, just browse forums for information and a read when I am bored. Noticing your post and ofcourse realizing it was you forced me to :). I'm pretty sure we'll meet again in Apen soonish. Good luck with getting the cards and remember: Don't fear combo!
